KatyaG was chosen among many interested, talanted artists by our site. Growing up in Siberia, Russia, she was exposed to beautiful, hand-made folk art of her area all throughout her life. Being mesmerized by this art, she attended a prestigious art school in that area, out of which she gained the same intricate mastery that artist for centuries before her had. It is no surprise than, that upon her arrival to the United States, she was fascinated by the parallels between Siberian Art and American folk art. Her combination of artiostic mastery, excellent materials, and imaginative ideas make her art not only beautiful but unique among American folk art. She  enhances it into a transcendence of cultures, visions, and imporessions.
